So we've been back and forth on first dance songs for a long time now and I'd really like to pick one. We're looking for a mid-fast tempo swing (or rock n roll) song with sweet lyrics.
Of the songs our band knows these are the favorites:
Cheek to cheek Come fly with me Hallelujah, I Love Her So I love being here with you
Theyd be willing to learn a song though. I really love Bei Mir Bist Du Schön (the song in the movie Swing Kids) but its long and if we asked them to shorten it I'm nervous that we wont know what it will be like so it would be hard to practice.
What do you think? Or other suggestions?

Everything by Michael Buble is fun and swingy. It's mine and FH's song but I wanted a slow song for our first dance so we are playing that one second.
If you love Bei Mir Bist Du Schön why don't you ask the band if they can shorten it and play it for you before hand, or burn it to a CD so you and FH can decide if you like it?

I looked up all the lyrics but I couldn't listen to the songs because I am at work so based only on the lyrcis I think I'm leaning towards the Hallelujah I love her so

Thanks! I'm leaning towards that one too (at least of the ones they know). FH and I got to dance to it when we went to check them out and we both though it was a definite maybe, lol
