First dance

How long is your wedding song? And are you dancing with just your dh the entire song or inviting people onto the dancefloor?

I would like to dance just with him...but our song is 5 minutes long! Maybe cut it down?

We are the only ones dancing to our song. I think it's like 3:30 or so. 'Overjoyed' by Stevie Wonder.

we have a bunch of songs on our list and still haven't narrowed it down. i'm trying to stay under the 4:00 mark, closer to 3:30. i want to dance with FH for the entire time. i have been looking forward to our first dance and I don't want it cut short, and I don't want to open the dance floor to anymore else.

Our song is 3:43 long. I would be more than happy to open the dance floor to other couples after a minute. Nearly 4 minutes feels too long to be the solo act on the dance floor haha

ours is short I didn't realize... it's 3 mins. there is a part in the song I want the dj to cut out so I'm going to have him invite friends and family to join then!

I'm not sure how long it is, but I had 2 songs I wanted, so 1 will be just me and FH and the 2nd song we will invite people to dance with us.

I honestly don't even want to do a first dance because I HATE being the center of attention, but FH loves it. I'm going to tell the DJ that we will do like a minute and a half by ourselves and then open it to everyone after that.

Ours is a little less than 3min. I have always wanted our first dance to be just FH and me, so I definitely don't plan on inviting people on to the dance floor. If our song was longer than 3 min, I would asked the DJ to shorten it.

We haven't picked our song yet. Narrowed it down to a few but if its long we will cut it down and we will def be dancing it by ourselves

Just us- 3:43 Green Eyes by Coldplay

we are also playing All the Way by Frank Sinatra and we are going to do the anniversary dance, where throughout the dance, the DJ will say 'couples who have been together for 10 years or more stay on the dancefloor' and then 15, 20, 25, 30, 31, 32, 33, etc. until once couple is left

we thought it would be a nice little touch because my Grandparents have been married for 60 years
