First Dance Help!!

After a wedding planning-free weekend in VT, I had a mini panic attack this morning when I saw my countdown said 18 days! So much to do!!

One of the biggest things is that we still don’t have a first dance song. Well I take that back. We have 3, actually. But there are little things about each of them that I’m not 100% about.

1. Everything by Michael Buble – For months we said that would be our first dance, we love it and FH played it for me when we first started dating. But it’s a little too fast and you really can’t slow dance to it, so FH is afraid we’ll just look dumb.

2. The Luckiest by Ben Folds – We love this song too but it’s the opposite problem – it almost seems too slow to dance to.

3. Then by Brad Paisley – I actually found this song when I did a search on here about first dances. We really like the lyrics but it’s a little too “country” for us.

Has anyone used or are using any of these for their first dance? Any advice? Or anyone know if any other bands do covers of these songs?

We were going to dance to Everything, but like you said it is a little fast. I was going to get dance lessons and have a choreographed dance, but FH found another song that he really loves and wants to use instead. Stay With You - John Legend. I am a little worried that song is too fast too, so we still might get dance lessons. I guess it is too late for you guys to get lessons. Sorry...I am not help!

ok everything by michael buble is kinda fast, we are using that for our photo montage instead!

im a big country music fan and love the song by brad paisley! i know its kinda country but honestly country music is the best for stuff like this!! they are very to the heart and very realatable to real life!!

we would have used this but my brother got married last year and stole it first!!
this song is very good and to me its extra good because tim and faith are really married so you know the lyrics are true and when they sing it to each other its like real! here are the lyrics
