FH and I were tossing around first dance ideas. we came up with these..
Wonderful Tonight By Eric Clapton because we were serenaded (sp?) this on our first date
When I Saw You By Mariah Carey because the words fit us perfectly
Power Of Love By Celine Dion because its a beautiful song and i am a big fan of hers, plus i have always pictured this as my first dance song
Which do you like best? Other ideas?

What about 'A Moment Like This' by Shania Twain... my FH says he doesn't like it- but that song is amazingggg!!! The Power of Love I'm going to play at my cocktail hour b/c it is a beautiful song!! I think I'm going to play 'Wonderful Tonight' when I dance with my mother. All of the songs are beautiful.... but between those 3, I'd do with wonderful tonight if it brings you back to your first date :)

I like the first choice because it of the first date. We used Wedding Day by the Bee Gees. I loved that song.

Correction: Do you girls mean 'From the Moment On' by Shania Twain or 'A Moment Like This' by Kelly Clarkson. Both are good, but I love 'From the Moment On'. I think it's absolutely beautiful. My FH thinks it's cheesy, of course. We are dancing to 'She's Got a Way' by Billy Joel b/c our first date was at a Billy Joel concert. :)

honestly my pick would be power of love =] only because i love love that song. happens to be one of my favorite and one of my choices. i am still debating wether to use that song (power of love) or from this moment on (shania twain).. i love both of them and dont know myself witch one to go with! =]

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the Mariah Carey song... maybe if I heard it I would know what it is.... 'From This Moment' by Shania Twain give me goose bumps b/c it's such a beautiful song- but my FH thinks it's cheesy and isn't a fan. 98 Degress 'My Everything' is our song lol... but now I dont know if I want to just go with 'From This Moment' lol AHHHH decisions....decisions.... Oh and Billy Joel is the MAN!!! Any Billy Joel song would be amazing- now I'm changing my vote. GOOOO BILLY LOL

I agree the song should work for both the man and the woman...we have narrowed our choices to three.....1. Thank you for loving me Bon Jovi...we are both 80's rock fans and love Bon Jovi...2. Dont go changing billy joel or 3. To make you feel my love billy joel. We are both huge Billy Joel fans in fact I thought FH was going to propose at the concert but he did it 2 wks earlier

I agree with the blonde thing....lol as brunette Id feel wierd if the song said blonde lol...I LOVE that Mariah song and think it unique....the Power of Love is beautiful and classic
