Also, for FH, does it matter what he wears? I'm guessing at least dress shoes instead of sneakers ....
(all I can picture in my head is the stuff Baby wore in Dirty Dancing - that would NOT work!!! )

When FH cousin got married, she wore her wedding shoes to her dance lessons so she could get used to them and break them in. She wore plastic bags over them so that if her FH stepped on her feet, they wouldn't get dirty, although I can't imagine how it wasn't too slippery.

I think a thong is best, definatly leg warmers and a side pony too. As a dancer I can tell you that that is what we wear JK Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and if you have heals that strap on tight where those (No sling backs or anything like that ya know) Im sure sneaks are also fine. You could call and see what they prefer. Have so much fun!!!!!!
