First dance lesson was really good!

I thought my FI would hate me afterwards for talking him into this...but he really liked it and so did I

We are taking lessons as well. It is really fun! Just don't get into fights about who leads and who follows.

I just asked him kind of joking around and he was like...yeah ok...I was shocked

We are using John at Ballroom Dance LI..he is a vendor on here...we loved it!

I told FH I think we both need to take a lesson or two so we arent just 'swaying' on the dance floor. He said 'ok', but we will see when I tell him its time for the lesson

$75 per lesson and if you do 4 at a time it reduces it to $70 per lesson.....we are using John at Ballroom Dance LI

We are doing this, too! We're attending New York Crystal Dance studio in West Islip - they actually run a deal for weddings - Their package is $100 and it includes 5 private lessons at 30 min. each and 5 group lessons at 1 hr each. They teach you ballroom dancing and practice a routine for your wedding song. FM me if you'd like more info - our instructor is great but says we're not practicing enough (which is totally true!)
