Are you deciding to dance w/ FH alone or are you having parents/bp join in?
Again filling out our band papers....just want to see what the majority is doing.
If you & FH are dancing alone or just w/ parents, are you having a 2nd dance w/ bp & ALL guests?

i like the idea of just FH and i dancing to our wedding song alone...afterwards we'll have the Father/Daughter dance, and Mother/Son--all separate and by themselves.
but if you aren't comfortable with all that time by yourself with just FH on the dance floor--you can have the BP join you towards the middle!

We're doing our first dance entirely by ourselves. We will invite our parents, BP and guests to join in on a second song.

I have to say, although it is nice to have the first dance to yourselves for YOU, most of your guests will be yawning after the first minute! Unless you're doing something entertaining, it is kinda boring to watch. But, hey it's your day so you should do whatever makes you the most happy!

We danced alone, we didn't have a song right after that we specifically asked everyone to dance for. I honestly can't remember if it just went into dancing from there or if the toasts were right after!!! We LOVED dancing alone, it was really special.
ETA: the only pic that isn't too big to post w/o resizing is kind of funny though
we were thinking about having all the other married couples join us on the floor midway through

We danced for the first 30 seconds alone and then had the parents, the BP then all the rest of the guests come join in..the band extended the song a bit so we could dance to it uninterrupted from start to finsih.
That's a great thing about having a band..they can extend the song! Beautiful!
