First dance song

I don't know how I ended up with mine, but I just heard it and knew that I wanted it to be my wedding song, and when I played it for FH, he smiled and said he liked it (this was before we were engaged). Everyone kinda expected us to use 'our song' which has been our song for the past 11 years. It's 'Angel Eyes' by Jeff Healey Band. It's the first song we slow danced too when we were 16 years old!!! But I really wanted to pick a new song with a new significant meaning and let that one remain what it has always been for us.

it took a long time, but eventually one just clicked. it's not a typical first dance song either.

don't confine yourself to the usual love songs - don't be afraid to look outside that genre.

Ours is personal. We heard it on WBAB when we went on our first weekend car trip together. It's an acoustic version of Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run'. I never knew how beautiful the lyrics were until I heard this version.

Thanks! I took us over a year to find it on itunes, but our Best Man found it for us last year. It's on some obscure Bside album. I love Springsteen. I really hope we can get tickets to see him this year.
