Ok have a little problem with our first dance. My FH has a song he would to play at the wedding that he would like to dedicate to me and vice versa. How does that work??? ??
Hi, I used to work for a DJ company and I remember that sometimes couples would dedicate songs to each other which were separate from their first dance. I know some couples had a second “first dance” after they cut their cake and before she danced with her father and it was called their spotlight dance. This is one way to incorporate a second song for you two. Another thing I have seen done is before the last dance (or at any point during the reception if you wanted) the MC announced that this next song would be dedicated to the bride from her groom, and then the next song he would announce that this song will be dedicated to the groom from his bride. We have an appointment with a DJ this evening and I am going to bring this up. My friend said that they can play the first half of one song and blend in his song or vice versa. We shall see. The problem is they are completely different songs. Decisions, decisions = )
