First day back in the office - Feels Wierd

Today is my first day back in the office since everything that happened with my mom. My last day of work here was October 25th. That is when my sister and I brought my mom to the hospital. It has been a long and painful month. I cannot believe it went so fast. It feels so wierd to be back here. I still cannot deal with anything and I am so not in the mood to be here.

I am sure it does Scott. I am sure everyone expects you to feel strange coming back. Just remember baby steps. You have been through a long and emotionally draining month. Take everything slow. Don't be afraid to tell people that you are still sad and hurting.

It s*cks - I know. It's hard to get back to 'real life' after such a major tragedy happened. I went through this in March with my dad. Day to day activities seem so stupid and unimportant. You look around and see people worry about the dumbest things and you think - hey you don't know what really tragedy is...People take life for granted. Just take one day at a time....at your own pace. Cry a little and laugh a little. Your mom is right by your side.
