First day on POINTS

First day on POINTS

I was amazed by how much I ate!!! I am in the 22-27 points range plus I get 3 active points too for my hour and a half at the gym, so max 30 points (God that's a lot of food!!)

Breakfast was:
Pillsbury Toaster Strudel (which I would NOT Have eaten if I thought about starting points today earlier) 4 points (still not bad)
1/2 container of yougurt - 3 points for the full container but I hated the flavor and threw it out

I overslept today so no lunch but snack was 1 cup of grapes - 1 point

Dinner was:
I allowed myself 2 cups of pasta (do you realize how much ONE cup of pasta is?!? wow!! It was almost a full bowl!) for 8 points but I didn't finish that either.
One cup pasta sauce total - 4 points
2 cups of salad - 0 points
2 tbsp. fat free dressing - 1 point
One biscuit - 2 points
with butter spray - 0 points

Making the grand total - only 23 POINTS!!!! And I didn't finish it all, so maybe 21!! And I feel so full, I am very happy with myself right now, and I can still have a little snack later if I get hungry. Only water to drink all day too. Not too bad!

yay good for you. journal too. it helps so much. I am hardcore journaling.

I am allowed 18 - 23 points and today I had 22. Yesterday i had 2 slices of pizza which is 18 points (9 points a slice) and then I had ice cream so I know I definatly went over. But its ok. Its now damage control all week and lots of yoga and walking.

Keep up the good work.

also dont forget to drink lots of water.

Diet soda is also zero points. I love diet sprite and diet coke when their is no diet sprite. BUT slowly switching to caffeine free diet coke when I get it in the supermarket

Re: First day on POINTS

I'm so happy I have someone else starting at the same time as me, too!

I already packed some of the dinner leftovers for tomorrow's lunch, in smaller portions, and breakfast too and only at 11 points there, still plenty left for dinnertime!

I go to the gym 4-5 days a week - 40 minutes of cardio and at least 20 minutes of weights, sometimes more, so that gives me a little more to work with too.

Re: First day on POINTS

thats good. I always plan my meals a day in advance. it helps so much.

i have a million and one snack bags with my snacks and the points written on the bags. in my closet everything has point values on them.

if i know i am going out, i bank points during the week and eat low point foods that day.

I love WW it really helps in developing good eating habits

Re: First day on POINTS

Hey WW girls- I am in the 18-23 range and yesterday I was SO GOOD with points except i made the huge mistake of eating WOW Chips out of the bag-so 10 minutes and 3 points later I felt horrible about it. So I was 2 points over so I went power walking for 2.5 miles and burned thm off. So I'm still on point. FYI, definitely try vegetable Hummus by Cedar's-Stop and Shop sells it-it is sooo yummy-I eat it with 2 slices light whole grain bread for 1.5 points!

Day Two is going well here too, although I have to go off to the gym in a little bit - I'm saving my 2 day's worth of active points for ice cream tonight!!!

Ok - did great until dinner. FH's friend is a chef and we went there for dinner. I did ok until the cake and cookies. I ate too much but I'm not stuffed like I usually am. I definitely went over my points but back on track and to the gym tomorrow!!!

Re: First day on POINTS

Chippa, I make pizza on the light english muffins, with the four cheese sauce from pathmark (the 4 cheese flavor from pathmark was less points than some garden veggie ones) with part skim shredded mozarella. They are so good! Ive eaten them for dinner 2 nights this week, and I am not tired of them yet. 2 english muffin pizzas are 8 points, and filling. Try them, you will love them!

Re: First day on POINTS

another low point pizza...if you cut thomas's pita bread in half (so you get 2 circles) and then put the sauce and skim cheese on that...
