first DIY done! :)

i finished my cry packs today! i even got FH to help cut the ribbon!

i love this stuff - so fun!

i also started stamping my candy bags ... found this great stamp - a nod to how FH & i met. (pic in album)

Been meaning to start these. How time consuming are they because I am not a DIY kind of person? Where did you get the envelopes for the tissues?

i made about 50 of the cry packs ... it took me about two hours. they are time consuming because of the pieces (filling the envelopes, making sure they're in smoothly, lining up the ribbon and labels, etc), but once I got into a rhythm i was flying through them.

i ordered the envelopes on amazon. they are glassine envelopes size #3 ... i got 100 of them for $3.99.

i think i must have had something in my profile back in the day referencing BU, which is also where FH went ... i think he found me that way. although he likes to say that he started talking to me because i was apparently wearing a low cut shirt in my picture.

but, totally unclear how it happened, all i know is that we started chatting on there and the rest is history! (ps - we always used to lie and say we met at a BU alumni event in NYC ... but eventually we just didn't care anymore and twitter made for a way more interesting story!)
