first DIY project done (I DO letters)

Just thought Id share. I did light blue on top and dark brown around edges, with a light tannish color swarovski crystal. Think theyre okay and I spent a good chunk of time today doing them, but wish I took even more time and did a few things differently (the glue for the crystals was messy!!!, should have done a lighter brown around sides bc it looks almost black, and darker brown crystals). But they'll do (pardon the pun)!

thx girls! you know when youre sitting over a project too long, it looks like [email protected] left it for a bit and came back..not too bad.

i hated using gem tac!

I looove were you placed the crystals..wish I would of thought of that. I placed my crystal so that they outline the shape of the letter and what a pain in the butt that was....

They look great...good job!

no way. i think what you did is a great idea too! I actually wish i thought more about placement before going for it. I didnt buy many gems and the ones I had were so small so I figured Id just add a touch. Plus I knew if I went all the way around the letters, more chance of me screwing it up!
