First Dress Appts

So today I went to Kleinfelds and the Macys Bridal Salon.

Kleinfelds was great. My consultant was nice and really listened to what I wanted. If I liked one or two things about a dress but didn't love the whole dress she would bring me other choices that had the things I liked. She let me and my FSIL choose dresses to try on after she pulled the first 2. I have fallen in love with one. It was perfect and absolutely everything I wanted. It's definitely a top contender, but I want to go to a couple other places before making a final decision.

Macys was not so great at all. My consultant didn't ask me what I was looking for or what I would like. The dresses she chose were not pretty and not dresses I wanted to buy. She knew I had fallen in love with a dress at Kleinfeld so I just used that as an excuse to get out of there.

In September I'll go back to Kleinfeld's with my mom and a few other places. All in all it was a great first experience!!

congrats on maybeee finding THE dress sorry about macys but w/e at least kleinfelds was great :)

My first visit to Macy's was the one in Manhasset and they were great, the sales people were so nice and helpful. I later went to the one in Macy's to re-try on a dress I liked, as its closer to my home,and I hated it. The sales people were kind of rude and really pushy, totally turned me off.
