my seamstress wont' really touch the dress before about 2 months or so.
that's the basic standard i think. i mean you can always try it on and such before--but for actually fittings they usually don't want to alter it any more than 2 mos beforehand.

Yup...RK told me the same thing - 2 months before the wedding.
