I just got back from my first dress fitting. I loved the way it loooked in the store but now that I am looking at pictures of it I do not think it looks like the same dress I originally picked out. My mother says that is because the sample I tried on was way too big on me. Or that it is not pressed. I just feel like it does not fall correctly. What do you think? It is in the first fitting album. I do not know how to resize it for here...

Re: first dress fitting...
It's a fabulous dress, it looks like it just needs to be taken in on top.

Just not sure if it looks like it is falling correctly....
Oh and I forgot to mention that the dress is too short. When I ordered it I asked them to put extra material on the bottom and they told me that I would not need it, the dress would be long enough. Well the dress is uneven, one side is shorter then the other and if I wear anything higher then ballet slippers then my feet will show.
I am just so upset I was looking forward to this all week.

It looks perfect and you have a flawless figure so it falls like its supposed too.

OMg, It is a gorgeous dress and it looks gorgeous on you! I do think I agree, the top neds to be taken in and i don't really see the unevenness at the bottom. If they told you no, and now it doesn't work, you need to go argue with someone.
I think I had the same feeling...It wasn't pressed and it was all wrinkly, and it made me feel gross actually. :( I sort of hate my dress a little, but I can't change anything now, so I have to deal with it and make the best of it.
Your dress is absolutely gorgeous. I think maybe it's just that it needs to be pressed.
Ugh, I was looking at the wrong dress apparently.

I hope you don't mind me posting these pictures for you. This is your sample dress: And this is your first fitting. Looking at it side by side, I think your mom is right. It just needs to be pressed because the fabric is not smooth on the front of your dress. I think it's a beautiful dress fits you perfectly. You're going to make a beautiful bride, don't worry.

I think its a beautiful dress and it looks great on you!! As far as fit, its hard to tell from the pics. It looks very slightly too big on top, but not even by a significant amount.

Re: first dress fitting...
Thank you to the girl who posted the pics because I wanted to see it again, but felt lazy to click through your album again LOL!!! Anyway- yes I also think your mom is right... a big reason is that the dress isn't pressed yet and looks very wrinkley. I think the dress is really nice though!!!

It's BEAUTIFUL! it's just not pressed. Don't worry, it will look amazing when it's fitted and pressed.
