First DYI project-Gold glittered champagne glasses
So I just got all the Martha Stewart stuff to give this a try on two practice champagne glasses. It calls for many coats of paint and drying in the oven between each coat. Will have to see how long it takes because I will end up doing more than 200 glasses! I want to glitter up the glasses and attach a charm of some sort to the stem as a favor. I think they will look great on the table if it works out. Wish me luck! I will post pics of the results

I used the Martha Stewart line of products to do my wine glasses. I saw the paint that you are using and Im sure they will turn out awesome. I used the blue glitter paint.

how funny, i was trying out the gold glitter on votive holders yesterday! I am thinking of doing it for the votives on the tables. I did just the glitter on one and gold paint and then the glitter on the other one and I liked the one with the paint and glitter better (all Martha Stewart paint)

Yes! I got gold paint and gold glitter paint because I read that it looks better to have both as layers. We will see!

I ordered the paint from Amazon. The paint and the pouncers to apply. Apparently, the MS pouncers work the best.

They turned out so great! The photo doesnt show the sparkle very well. It was so easy and FH likes them too. Now to find a good bulk rate on 200 or so champagne flutes!
