first engagement gifts very exciting

we had a little get together at my house for just my close family and fh close family (we are having a big formal 200pp e-party in december)
and i got my first little engagment gifts:

i got my swarvski toasting flutes they are amazing these were from my two sisters and my cousin who is like a sister (and all their husbands...)

i got a nice frying pan filled with kitchenaid gadgets and oxo gadgets for the kitchen

i got a mr and mrs coffee mugs

and i also got a really nice lenox ring holder and a precious moments statue...

I LOVED IT and i didnt think i was getting anything because we are having a big engagment party these where just little thoughts really EXCITING

I FEEL ENGAGED LOL

That's so exciting!!! It's true.. when you get things like that it does hit you more that you are in fact 'engaged' lol!!!! Congrats

I know what you mean! I got my first engagement gift, a beautiful frame from my neighbors, the other day. It was very exciting and made me realize the same thing...I'm really getting married!!
