First Fitting

I had my first fitting last night and I am getting stressed. My veil finally came in (after 10 months!!!) so that is good. However, my dress is so hard to alter. I bought a brand new sample of a Paula Varsalona gown and I swear, the model who wore it must have been 7 feet tall! The entire bottom of the dress is lace but there are no seams...anywhere! The seamstress was staring at it for like 30 minutes just trying to figure out how to alter it! She is really good and works with everyone at my bridal salon (she's like 85 years old), but I hope my dress isn't torn apart! I love it so much. To top that, the corset I wanted from Carnival is completely unavailable b/c the company was sold. That item has been on backorder for 6 months and there are 5000 outstanding orders!! The one I have fits okay but that one fit PERFECT...I guess it is just one thing after another!
