Is August 4th too early for the first fitting for an Oct 27th wedding...
My bridal place made the appointment for me but it just seems so early to me....What do you think??

Nope. I was told the end of July for my Oct. 6th wedding. I think it is in case they end up having to do more than 1 fitting.

Hi date twin. My first fitting is August 30th, if that helps you. Usually 8 weeks before the wedding date (I actually told them my date was October 20th - just in case).

your fine... especially if your weight is pretty consistent. I had my first fitting on June 2nd and she pinned me... the 2nd fitting was just the entire dress pinned... we didn't make any changes and I picked my dress up for good last weekend... a month before my wedding! I'm a little different because it's a destination wedding and I leave for Ireland in 2 weeks sorry... just got excited there for a sec... but either way, you'll be fine and it's better to get it done sooner in case you want to make changes!

I was told August for my early November wedding, so I'd say you're pretty much on schedule.
