I suppose it depends on the amount of alterations you need but about how long was your first fitting an hour? or more? TIA

Re: First Fitting?
Definetely less than an hour. It doesn't take that long for the seamstress to pin your dress for the alterations.

Re: First Fitting?
Mine was about 30 mins. But I was waiting 30 mins for the seamstress. They were running behind schedule!! but it shouldn't be more than 30 mins!

ugh mine was 2 hours!!! I think it was because my dress is all lace so the alterations were a bit more complicated I guess? I don't know - like the hem of my dress they had to unstictch it and then align the designs on the lace and then repin - that took the longest!!!
I think it totally depends on the dress and how much alterations you need done

Re: First Fitting?
Mine was lst night and it was about 20 minutes. They only need to make minor alterations. They actually wanted to schedule my second fitting a week before my wedding! I told her NO WAY!!!

Re: First Fitting?
they were running late, so I had to wait a ½ hour plus about an hour or so for the fitting itself
