Had my first fitting last night. Good news is not much alterations need to be done!! YAY Bad news is my shoes were to high and now I need to get a flat shoe! Other than that is went well. Although they wanted to schedule my next fitting for 8/14 yeap 1 week before my wedding. Ummm not going to happen!

Ummm no deft make it sooner than that!!! I am going back in the end of August to try my dress on so they can do one alteration! I am not paying for 2 alterations!!!
That stinks you have to get flat shoes though..

that's annoying about the length...honestly you would probably be fine doing it the week before if you only needed minimal alterations--I actually had TWO the week of my wedding (tues and thurs), after having one like 3 weeks before, and it was fine....but you'll be more at peace this way i'm sure
