I have my first fitting/try on this Saturday. Ok here is the silly question....Should I not wear make up?? I am so worried to get any stains on my new crisp white dress..lol

i wore makeup because i took pics and also had a hair trial the same day, so i wanted to look my best, they will not let you get makeup on your dress, plus you step into your dress, it does not go over your head

AWWWWW you can wear light makeup..... like eye and concealer but not foundation, i dont think your eyes are going to rub the dress...lol...but if you want a picture of how its going to be then just eyemakekup. hth...GOOD LUCK and take lots of pictures

Do you want to wear makeup to get a semi full effect when trying it on? If so, can you step into your dress instead of putting it over your head? Good Luck and take lots of pics!!!

I tried on my gown last week and I wore my regular makeup..... but my gown doesn't go over my head so I didn't honestly worry about it.
I WAS, however, completely embarrassed that I needed a root touchup sooooo badly, meanwhile the consultant is like 4 inches from my head, putting on headpieces and veils for me.....

yay!!! that's so exciting! i'd definitely not wear any makeup if it's going over your head. i'd be afraid to get anything on it! definitely take LOTS of pics!!

Yeah I wore makeup and I did my hair. I wanted to see it all put together. My dress was steamed and cleaned before I picked it up from the salon, so I wasn't worried.

i only wore some bronzer cuz i wanted to take pictures and not look pale and pastey and i figured i was going to step into it anway. Well, i had to put it on over my head because of my slip, but i was super careful and didnt get anything on it. but i was nervous that i was going to touch my face and then my dress and get makeup on it - next time i'm not wearing any.
