Went last weekend. Realized my wedding dress looks like a nightgown. haha. I had originally planned on adding crystal work to it but I haven't found anything that adds to it - it just looks tacky. Oh well. I never did want to wear a wedding gown which is why I didn't end up with a traditional one to begin with. The wedding would be so much more fun if I could wear a regular party dress!

Re: First fitting
How'd the actual fitting go? I don't think it looks like a nightgown, it's a sexy, slinky wedding dress!
But there's nothing wrong with wearing a fun party dress either! I bought one to change into!

I definitely don't think it looks like a nightgown!!! How about adding a brooch to it somewhere, like on your left hip??

I don't think it looks like a nightgown! I like the idea of adding a brooch.

Aww it looks pretty and not like a nightgown. A brooch would be a good idea.

It doesn't look like a nightgown. YOu can bling it up with detailed veil, tiara, jewelry, etc...

Thanks everyone!
The fitting went well. It's a little big so they took it in a bit and I had the neckline changed to a scoop neck instead of straight the way it is in the pics.
I had planned on a brooch all along but can't find anything that compliments it. It can't handly straight crystals, it need something with pearls or subtle tones bc of the color/style. I still have 3 months so hope to find something. Otherwise, nightgown it is!
