I had my first fitting yesterday and it didn't go too well. My dress fits like a glove and the only alterations I'll need is a hem which is great but the front of the dress bunches. I said what can we do to fix it, maybe I need to loose a few more pounds. The seamstress said no she could just take it in on the sides and that would smooth it out but I said if you do that then it'll be too tight. She went on to tell me how she's been doing this for twenty nine years and she knows what she's doing.
I said why do you have to go there, I'm only expressing my concerns. My bridal consultant had to step in cuz I was about to knock this old lady out.

Why do people get so offended when you are only expressing your concerns and feelings? To them we are one of many but to us this is a one in a lifetime experience. (Hopefully)

OMG, i went to see my dress for 1st time yest - I had made appt to go try on sample with all the shoes ive bought that can't make up my mind about. Anyway,i ended up trying on my dress (not for fitting) and it bunches and it just gave me another feel, I dk.. I went to BR on carle place - they kept telling me not to worry that once the fittings start, they will take it in to fit me, but im so paranoid that it won't and that i won't like the dress :(..
