First fitting!

So I had my first fitting at kleinfelds today! I was so anxious to get this dress back on after 7 months (to the day!!) that I tried it on and ordered it. As some of you know, I've lost the 30 lbs I told them I would so I was really excited and nervous to get it back on. The good news is it fit but with soooo much room so it took about an hour to pin it for alterations :) the ehhh news, it was definitely slightly more ivory than I remember it being so I feel like my sparkly silver shoes won't work or at least the heels won't (since they were pretty uncomfy for a lady who is not used to wearing heels... I'm 5'7). So I made the spot decision to have the dress hemmed for flats and commit to no heels all day. Still going to rock my sparkly converse at the reception but think I need a pretty flat for the reception. So that search begins! Plus undergarments, gotta get those done before the next fitting.

But all in all a wonderful a day! I sooooooo wish I could share but I don't trust fiancé not to peek or any of my fam not to see it. I can't wait to post in a little less than 2 months

I'm 5'8' and I'm skipping the heels. You'll be much more comfy!! So glad the dress not only fit but was big. That has to feel great!!

I'm only 5'2' and I'm skipping the heels! Wear whats comfortable.. nobody wanted to look drunk walking down the aisle in heels too high! Congrats on the check! So exciting!

Congrats on the first fitting and I don't blame you about the heels. I normally wear heels but I'm not looking forward to it on the big day. If you need a recommendation for undergarments Georgette's was great. Congrats again.

Ok so since you all are skipping the heals.... Something I am contemplating.... where are u getting your flats? And sparkly converse sound awesome!

Sparkle converse from the journeyz website!! I got them for like $30, they're definitely whiter than my dress but I love them and no one will really see them (unless I show them off which lets be honest, I'm gonna lol)

Congrats on the weight loss. If I can loose 10lbs I would be happy but I like to eat.....LOL.

Ahh I'm so sorry, I don't see them any more either. I bought them several months ago, they must have stopped selling them. Etsy had a lot of sellers doing fun converse too! Sorry about that
