I have my first fitting this weekend! What should I expect? I know to bring my shoes/undergarments.... what else? When do I pay my alteration fees--at the first fitting?
Also... which one looks better?? The back of my dress originally looked like this with 4 buttons (as when I ordered it during the trunk show) but now as the dress went into production, the designer changed it to 6 buttons (as seen below). I cant decide which design I like more. Please help! TIA!
I like the six buttons. Who's the designer? That's an amazing dress! (Although, wow, that model needs a sandwich. Or ten.)
I haven't gone for my first fitting so I don't know what to tell you!

Those are such cute shoes! I think they will ook great with the dress. Is your dress white? Are he shoes white? Where are they from?

Thanks! The dress and shoes are both white. There's silver flowers on the neckline, so I thought a little silver in the shoes might go well. I got the shoes at DSW! :)

I like the 6 buttons & those shoes are adorable ! For my alterations i had to put down a deposit and I have to pay for it in full when it's all done & i'm picking it up.

As for what to expect w/ your first fitting. Def. bring undergarments and shoes. I was upset at my first fitting b/c it was so big on me. The 2nd one was much better. Essentially, the seamstress will pin and clip. Then you'll take it off.
I can suggest, for the 2nd fitting, when it will look/fit more like it should take jewelry and headpiece then. You'll get a better idea of the final picture.
