FIRST FITTING TODAY!!!

OK ladies... I am leaving in a few minutes for my first fitting.

And nothing like waiting until the last minutes. I have 30 minutes to find a bra. I forgot about it. I am going to Georgette in Hicksville at 12 (when they open) and fitting is at 1 in Baldwin.

I do like to live 'dangerously'...

OK... the first fitting is now on July 16.

When I arrived, she looked at me and said,

Sales person: 'you did not get my messages'. The seamstress is out today. We had to cancel all the appointments.
Sophie: NOPE, where did you leave the message and when?
Sales person: at the 631 number, yesterday
Sophie: oh... that's my work number and I don't work on Saturday. My MOH is here with me.
Sales person: I am so sorry. But you did not try the dress on anyway. Do you want to do and 'check it out'
Sophie: why not?

I had the shoes, slip, etc....

I guess it was my fault too. I thought I had left her my cell phone number. Maybe I should have called too to confirm my appt.

The dress fits 'perfectly' on the sides. Just have to do the off-the-shoulder part and the hem.

MOH and myself already know what needs to be done and pick a bustle.

My sister's slip is perfect (my borrowed) so I can save a few $$$. Now I just have to get a veil.

I was cool about it! They are so nice. They felt so bad I did not get the message.

My MOH will email me the photos tomorrow from the fitting AND the shower yesterday.

Oh, I will be thinking about you.

I already know the veil I want. Ivory, pencil edge, fingertip and some rhinestones. I may want to do the rhinestone myself. That would be cheaper and it could be my DYI. But who knows, I may be pressed for time and just have it done.

My MOH will be emailing me the photos of the shower yesterday (I totally goofed off on the photos. Surprising, right?) and of the 'it's not a real' fitting today.
