First fitting was today!

well..looks like we have to let out the side a bit as it is tight in my ribcage...who ever thought one could have a 'fat ribcage'??

The alterations cost almost half the amount of my dress....boy, weddings are expensive!

Has this happened to any of you?

Next fitting is on november 1....

A seamstress told my sister (who is 5'4' and weighs 120lbs) that she has abnormally wide ribs.The girl is a twig, where else are her organs supposed to go!

I had my 'second' first fitting (second time taking it to a seamstress...first time with this new one...long story) yesterday and decided to take out the top a little. My dress is a size 6 and everything else either fits great or is a little big except for my back!! I have a wide back...the back of an Olympic swimmer without muscle definition! Funny thing is, I can't swim! I'd rather get it taken out than continue killing myself dieting and working out to the extreme in hopes of being able to breathe in my dress

hahah. you make me feel so much better!!!

ANd to make matters worse...my mom saw the pictures from the fitting and i dont think she likes my dress... :)
