I had my first fitting!!! We went over the bow, sash, bustle, sewing in pockets for the chicken cutlets I'm using POB Roslyn location where I bought my dress and all the BM dresses. The sash and bow will be in the purple color of my bridesmaids dresses. The seamstress did 2 bustles for me that I just did NOT like at all. I really wanted something simple. So I said, can't you you do one button? And this is what she did. I love it! She said it was more popular back in the day, not so much anymore. Works for me! My next fitting is May 4th...AHHH!!!
ETA: The bow will have long thick angled bottom falls (ribbons) that come down to about six inches below the bottom of the dress. Not those stubby little things sticking out of the bow shown!
