FH and I met on match.com and we had talked and emailed for about 3 weeks before actually meeting for a first date. My philosophy on kissing on the first date came up during the conversation and he asked if he had a shot at kissing me that night and I jokingly said we'd have to see how the rest of the date went.
Later that night when he was dropping me off he asked about the kiss again and I smiled and said something like Well let's have at it then. So then he kissed me.
He's a really good kisser.

i kissed him first... in the back seat of my friend's car... drunkenly...
it took us awhile to get it together- we 'hooked up' for a year before we actually made it official... i wasn't ready for a relationship, he was... i kept stringing him along... i'm such a biotch...

O My you all have such great stories!
I feel like I should give you a little background.. I had a BF and he had a GF.. we didn't know eachother...but had 2 mutual friends, one was a girl named Jackie.. who tried to hook us up. I said no bc I just started dating this guy.. he said yes but not yes... just whatever (point is.. he was open to it but not looking for it... if that makes sense). so we never met. 2 years later (maybe a lil less??) That guy and I broke up and him n that girl broke up. I saw John in a bar, literally 2 weeks into finally being single... and we started doing a crossword puzzle together (i know.. in a bar!). Nothin happened that night except some number exchanging. He mentioned going to the movies with me. We ended up going to the movies then afterwards Cooper's bar. I texted Jackie 'I love this guy'... later on that night we kissed and remained together ever since that night almost 5 years ago.
PS - Jackie is one of the BM's! <3

Ours was on our second date. I had driven from Westhampton Beach to Plainview to go out and watch the mets playoff game. We went to a sports bar & grill and I drove him home and he leaned over and kissed me good night. I was caught of gaurd but in a FANTASTIC way.

it was the first night :) whn all our friends disappeared and we were left alone, i said to him: if you think your getting laid tonight, or anying like that,you found the wrong girl!! He goes if thats wat i wanted i would have left talking to you hours ago. I was shocked and taken aback! We watched tv for a bit and when we were going to say goodnight and he leaned in and kissed me gently, surprised that i kissed him back. The night ended with me giving him my number!

The night of our first date (it was a blind date). He dropped me off and asked if he could kiss me good night. He did! Simple and sweet.
