So I've been contemplating how first looks make things easier....even though I really don't want to do it. And I think it would actually end up costing us more money in limo's.
Currently we have 1 limo for 3 hrs that will pick up the GM at our apt in queens...take them to the hall...then pick up the girls and take up to the hall.
Now if you have a first look and do pics somewhere (especially if your ceremony is at your RH) how did you transport everyone to the pic location and to the hall? How many limos did you get and for how long?

For us it ended up working out because we were both staying at the hotel (seperate rooms) and just did our first look there. Once we did the first look, then we all got in the limo and went to take pics. After pics, back to the RH for ceremony.
We also only had in the limo me, hubby, my MOH, his BM, and two flower girls, so we just got a stretch limo and worked out perfectly.

Ohhh yes that is an easy situation. There are 5 BM 5 GM and 1 FB. And then parents. Do parents usually drive except the FOB?

we just got one big party bus for our whole bridal party (we have 24 total..yikes!) so they are taking us from church to RH (we are taking pictures there)
a friend of mine (i was her bm) took pictures at a different location other than the RH and the limos took us from church to pictures to RH..everything was on the way to the RH though, so maybe keep that in mind. she had the limos normal time just told them where to stop and how long they'd be there. they will work with you, good luck!

5 hours the limo is just dropping us off at fox hollow and since we're staying at the hotel right next door, there's no reason to have the limo stick around all night

Are your parents going in the limo's with you guys?
Esentially I could get a second Chrysler which is what we have now...but we'd have to get it for more time. I think we would end up spending another 1K on limo's if we did the first look. Not sure if it is worth it financially.

yea in the girls limo its going to be me, my BMs and my parents and in the boys limo its gonna be FH, the GM and his parents that way when we're at the museum we get most of our family pictures out of the way too. who did you book limos with? we're using RJs in Wantagh and i cant remember the price off the top of my head but i remember it being a very good deal.
