First look for an afternoon wedding?

First look for an afternoon wedding?

Did anyone do the first look and have an afternoon ceremony time?

I am kind of thinking about it...but my ceremony is at 1 so we would need to be ready to leave by 10am...so start getting ready by like 6 or 7.

Did anyone do this?? How did it work out?

I did. My wedding was at 11:30 so we had even less time in the am.

We had make up and hair arrive to our house by 5:15 and the photographer at 7:15. We did our first look at 8:30 and we were at our RH by 11:15.

I really couldn't have seen us taking pictures any other way. Even with this we still missed cocktail some of cocktail hour between a few shots from the photographer and videographer and then getting my dress bustled.

My wedding is at the same time and this is pretty much what we're doing

So it was still worth it even though you still missed cocktail hour?? Just curious of what made it worth it still?
