first make up trial :(

I had my first make up trial yesterday. My sister got the lady who was very nice. However, I didn't like how I looked and I feel bad because my sister liked it. It was air brushing and my sister is more freckly than I am. :uncertain

The airbrushing seemed too heavily made up on me. My pores appeared larger and the lines under my eyes more exaggerated. I have long eyelashes that curl easily but it looked like little points and not as full and long. Maybe it was the waterproof mascara she used?

Not sure how to hide the circles under my eyes besides needing more sleep but piling foundation on under them is NOT a good idea. I looked like I had more wrinkles then I have!

I think I do a better job on my own. I was hoping to look better than usual since it's done professionally so I am disappointed. I am afraid to tell my sister I'm not into it.

Anyone have a make up artist they like and can recommend?

I don't think you should feel bad about not liking it. I didn't like my first trial either. Maybe you should try traditional makeup rather than the airbrushing. I am using Sandra Baldini---I think she is great! She really works with you if you don't like something. Good luck

Use your own mascara, you know what works right for YOU.

Airbrushing does exaggerate lines...where I have more lines..we wiped some away...I also used waterbase.

Did she use concealer under eyes or just the airbrush? I used concealer too.

dont feel bad about it!! im sure your siswould feel bad if you used her even though you didnt like it
