First month really trying and timing everyhting

This month we really started to try to TTC, and I know I ovulated, and we timed everyhting but AF is showing her ugly head. I am kind of bummed out and so is DH, I know it hardly happens the first time around, but kind of in the dumps about it, it is weird u try so long to not get preganat and then u start to try and nothing.

I know the feeling

We've been trying about 2 months before we got married and still nothing. It makes you wonder sometimes how is it people who don't want to get pregnant do on the a whim and us who really want this have a hard time.

I try to stay positive (as hard as that is) and hope for the best

How did you know you when you were ovulating? I only ask because the first month we tried, I used the rhythm method and I did not get pregnant. Then I finally bought an ovulation kit and I got pg right away. Good Luck and Baby Dust!

Hang in there sweetie

keep in mind, you have to 'try' at least 24 hrs prior to ovulation, this way the spermies are there waiting for the egg to drop. You could oulate from 6am-5pm and chances are you'll be at work and then what happens? If you made sure the spermies were there even if you ovulate at work you;re already covered!!
It;s hard to get pregnant (not for the 15 year olds of course!!), but it takes time don't put so much stress on yourself, your dh will then feel performance stress as well. Good luck, relax and enjoy and lift your hips to make sure they SWIM straigh and fast!!!
