First night of classes tonight!

I'm on my third semester of school (I took the summer off) and my classes start tonight! I'm excited! Figures one of my classes requires a book so now I have to go wait on the long line at the bookstore to get the $19 book

i am starting well my 3rd semester as well (unless you count the 2 summer sessions i took), but my classes dont start till the 2nd.

Don't you hate when you NEED the book the first day of class! I have one professor who is mkaing us have 5 chapters read already for the 1st day of classes...like w t f am i even going to understand anything (it's a philosophy of education class ) and the fun thing is the professor wrote BOTH books we need to buy for class. UGH I hate that now he is making more money off of us...and i can only sell it to hofstra students who take that class.

What a pain the arse! That's not fair! Will you be able to have the bookstore buy it back? I've noticed from all my grad classes that whatever books I buy, I keep. There so much more useful than any books I had in undergrad!

yeah unfortunately they dont give you alot of money back. And another unfortunate thing is this is not a graduate book i would keep for reference. it is a stupid class (according to people who have taken it) that would never help when teaching haha
