Ok, so I feel like I have a TON of q's that I haven't gotten around to asking, and I need to ask ASAP! I can't remember them all, so I'm just going to post as I remember, so I apologize for flooding the boards this morning!
FIRST, this is not completely wedding related. However, FH & I are taking my parents out to the 21 Club in NYC for their birthday. My parents & I HATE HATE HATE the train, so FH said he would drive. This isn't a big problem, FH & I have both driven in the city before and there's a parking garage right next to the restaurant.
HOWEVER, we would like to get a limo or car service to pick us up at our home in Western Nassau and then take us back. When I say car service, I don't want anything 'sketchy'; I'm just being open to other possibilites besides a standard limo.
Can you girls recommend any limos/car services/whatever that won't cost a fortune? Dinner is going to be expensive enough at this place lol. Plus, what do you girls think it would cost to have the limo get us at say 3:30, bring us into the city, and get us again around 8:00PM and bring us home. Again, I live in Western Nassau (Valley Stream), if that helps with answers. And it'll just be 4 of us in the limo.

We're getting married in CT and don't have a limo yet, so that wouldn't work out for us. THanks for the suggestion though!

you should try calling taxi companies in your area...depending on how many ppl you have going most of them have vans that fit up to 14 ppl i dont know how much it would be but you cantry calling them they are usually a lot cheaper than a limo depending on how far you are going...they are not bad either my family took a van from a taxi co to my sisters wedding so none of us had to drive and it cost 95 each way and the ride was about a half hour..hope that helps!

Try S & G Limo... they do town car service as well, and actually started their company doing that. One of the owners, Steve Berry, is my sister's and brother-in-law's best friend. Their website is: sandglimo.com and their number is (516) 833-6455. I think they have some prices on their website. If you call tell them Marjorie and Frank recommended them, maybe you can work out a deal like no $$ for tolls or gratuity. I have used their car service before and they are very reliable and professional.
