I am the first girl cousin in my family to get engaged and the first of my friends to get engaged. Anyone else in the same situation? Some of my family is overly excited and others seem to care less. I feel like people do not know what to do.
I'm the first. Sometimes I feel like everyone's not sure what to do.. but I figure..I don't either so we'll all have to figure it out together! My FSIL is a bridesmaid and she has been in a lot of weddings so I'm hoping she can lead the gang =) but other than that.. remember how excited you are.. and if others aren't than too bad for them!
I wish I was, but my sister beat me to it! I'm one of 7 kids (5 girls, 2 boys) so I'm the second. My MOH and best friend for my whole life is actually getting married 2 months after me, so it's fun to do everything together but a bit frustrating at the same time!

I am the first in my immediate family (i have 2 older brothers) o my family is ecstatic about it! FH is 2nd in his fam, and they dont seem to care much.. FH is 6 years older, so most of his friends are married, some with children so it's no big.. I'm pretty much first of my main group to get engaged- the girls LOVE the details and talk, but at same time, I know that i'm not asked out to bars/clubs as much bc they feel like I'm done with it officially. It's awkward bc my girls arent in the same boat and i dont want them to feel bad, and i dont want people to make up my mind for me that I wouldnt want to go out! :::sigh:::![]()

my brother got engaged a week ago... so the gf of my oldest brother is now livid that they are the last to get engaged--she actually hung up on my brother when he told her he proposed!

My oldest sister was like that (she's 34). She's been with her BF for 11 years and still no ring! She was like 'I'm taking a shot for you!'
I was like oh geeze someone needs to talk her off the ledge![]()
Yea i get it ...trust me ..im 30 and when all my younger friends got married i was like ..omg
