We had our first photog appointment last night with Ives from Photos of the Heart. It went really well and my sister is using them for her wedding (which is 3 months after mine!). FH loved Ives and wants to just go with them. I thought we should at least look around a little bit more since this is the first one we met with. Has anyone booked their photographers really quick like this???? We do have another appointment tonight with Marco Photo, I told FH we had to keep this appointment and go see before we make any decisions.

I looked at 6 photographers but booked right angle the day after meeting with him. I feel like you know when you know. I'd meet with at least 2 more... just to get an idea of what's out there. If photos of the heart is still your number one... then def book!

I did! I went and met with Florio from Lighthouse Photography and booked him the next day. I had been 'stalking' out his website for months and I just knew he was what we wanted. We had 3 other appts lined up and I decided to just cancel them and book him.. if you're comfortable, you're comfortable.
I also sent you an FM!

Lighthouse was the third photo appt we had made. We met with two others right before the holidays and weren't completely thrilled with those two, so we took a little break. Right after the holidays, we met with Florio at Lighthouse and like, a day later booked them!

Florio and Monica happen to be a family friend but Ive been obsessed with their work for years and years!

I reasearched a bunch online and send emails requesting price quotes and availability. Based off that I set up appts. I met with 3 in person and loved them all so we made our decision from those 3. It was the toughest decision we made so far. Literally made my head hurt lol

I would visit more just for price negotiations. You may also want to visit others to compare the packages. We booked with Ken Hild and are happy so far.

A friend of mine told me to check out Ken Hild. I know a lot of people who are using him for their weddings coming up this year. Looks like he does amazing work!
