First RSVPs in and.......(kinda long)

Well I'm excited about the RSVPs of course!!! The first one I opened was from a cousin on FHs side of the family. He and his wife were invited, no one else. Of course the first thing I see is a number three on the RSVP card. Ok, no biggie I'll just tell FH or FMIL to call them and tell them that due to an already bulging guest list, their kid can't come. So I told FH and he told his mother. Turns out this lady called FMIL this past weekend telling her that she was going to bring her daughter. FMIL said no, she wasn't invited. Well crazy lady said ...get this...she wants her daughter to come b/c she wants her to get used to going to weddings! ***!!! My wedding is not a practice wedding! Apparently FMIL hung up on her (go FMIL!!) According to FH's grandmother this lady probably won't come, just her husband and daughter. So why RSVP w/3 people? Just so I can pay extra? I think FH's family is going to drive me nuts w/these RSVPs. At least I know FMIL will handle it

Good for you that your FMIL stays on top of this stuff and does what is right!!! I hope it all works out!!

haha people are so weird with RSVP's i really don't understand why they don't get it sometimes

my fh's uncle and aunt couldn't come so they rsvp'd no.......a week before the wedding my fmil called to say that their children, his two married cousins were going to come instead of the aunt and uncle...he has 79 cousins and these two are in their late 40's, they are both married and have kids our age....we didn't invite the whole family it is way too big .....they weren't invited but they are just coming....i so don't get it

haha then i was asked to call the hotel for them and get another room under the block rate!! the blocks ended a month ago!!!
i was even shown an email where they are complaining that they don't have directions because they don't have an invitation...yea that is because YOU ARE NOT INVITED!!!!

I hear ya....some ppl just don't get IT.
