most shops you do need an appointment. and to make sure you get personal attention it is best that you make an appointment.

This, you probably could walk in but if you get it at a crowded time you might not get much attention. You can usually make an appointment the day before.

It depends. Some stores are appointments only but there are alot that you can just walk in. I think they appreciate it when you do make an appointment.
