Hello,
We looking into get a home, but don't even know where to start. Does anyone know how to look or apply for first time homeowner grants or of any programs out there?

CDCLI, we got grants from them. You have to attend classes and stay in your home for 5 years other than that though you're free and clear!

Sorry I am probably no help. We didn't receive any grants. DH took care of a lot of that since we were long distance. I am pretty sure he went to a bank to get approved for a loan, then took it from there.

We did receive the first time homebuyer tax credit though. I don't know if they will continue that for 2010 or 2011 though.

Hi! My realtor was great!

Joseph, his office is in Farmingdale, 516-249-0044

He finds you what you want, not what he wants to sell.

Good luck!
