Re: First trip together...
Same as most romantic trip:
We live in Northern Calif. FH took me to Napa for a weekend, booked spas visits, appointments at wineries and a wonderful dinner out. We stayed at a B&B with only 4 guest rooms, in an amazing suite-- if you ever go to Napa check out the Crossroads Inn. We had a private balcony, hot tub in the room, and they wheel in your breakfast on a fancy tray.
He brought me a gift for every day of that trip and told me he loved me for the first time. We are getting married on our 3rd anniversary from that trip. I will NEVER forget it

LMAO!! Me too. They have these pics in the brochure with the people sipping champagne in the tall hot tub and I always wondered how the hell they get up there. Thanks for the info.

Re: First trip together...
That place is soooooo cheesy funny! The bed is round if I remember correctly, and the ceilings are mirrored with little twinkling lights, just like looking up at the sky (yeah right)!
The place was a blast! The Champagne tub is nothing compared to that pool you have in your room!

Re: First trip together...
Allure: depends on the room, but I think it ranges from $300-500 a night But that includes breakfast and dinner and all activities, so it's not that bad.

We were there about 2 years ago, and back then it was around 600 a night, or even 700, he can't remember...we did three days, two nights.

Re: First trip together...
I had to check - for a weekend in August the Champange Towers room is $950 for two nights.
Oh wow! I thought they were a lot more...I know when all was said and done, it was well over 1000 for two nights (maybe the quote online doesn't include tax)...
