I tried replying from my phone, but I don't think it went through! :(I haven't met with any photographers yet, but from emailing a few they seem to really cover most of the information. Make sure to find out how many hours of coverage they offer and how much extra hours would cost, they number of photographers tat will be there for your wedding day and who (hopefully you can meet them and see their work beforehand), engagement shoots (if you want one), albums/printing (if included or extra cost), turn around time, proofs, and locations. I doubt you will have any issues with locations since you're out west (unless you were doing an e-shoot somewhere) but I saw that some charge extra to come to the North Fork! Good luck and let us know who you end up choosing and why! I am planning to meet with photographers in December. I hope they aren't booking up too quickly!

I think FH's sister used Duval for her wedding (7 years ago). They certainly might have changed since then, but her pics are all super traditional, posed shots. I also found the layout of her album to be strange, but it could have been what she picked.I've heard good things about ADA!

My cousin used ADA for her wedding which was at the Cottage at East Wind and she did the all inclusive. She loves her photos and they were awesome!! They got a ton of candid shots and the photos were online within a few weeks!

did u meet with dj or limo company yet? if u did how soon after booking did u go?
the only reason I have a photo appointment is bc the sterling called andasked if I picked a photographer yet....I booked 3 weeks ago maybe less ay the time she called. I didn't think it needed to happen that fast lol

We are booked with ADA, out of all the photographers we met with we got the best deal with them, plus they have been around forever. I know a lot of people who have used them and were very happy. We have a basic photo package with no albums and a basic video package for under 3K :)

How did the appointments go?!
Not the way I planned. A good sales person makes all the difference.
We went to ADA first, photos were great, but the lady we worked with didn't know the ssterling's package, didn't sale anything ableastut the company or upgrades. I left feeling uninformed a bit disappointed.
so we went to Duval, lady there was great, s such a great sales women so good that even after seeing their albums of work I still wasn't too impressed but she sold them so well I left actually considering them! but im still afraid if I pick them im gonna have pics that the photographer didn't pay attention to detail. and me and the parents and my girls will all have to pay attention and make sure something isn't covering any ones faces or a bra isn't showing and I don't want to worry about that on my wedding!!
So I'm going to call ADA and tell them I will give them a second chance but I need a sales person that knows my package and can give me good advice. I've heard very good things and am impressed by thier work! but I need to feel good about what I'm picking. so I'll let you ladies know what happens!!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Definitely meet with ADA again, did you clarify with them that you were doing the all inclusive package before your last meeting? Make sure you get someone that knows what is going on!Definitely don't book with the other company if you don't like their end product. I know how you feel about a good sales person, that is how I felt when visiting a lot of RH! Even though I didn't love the building/ballroom/etc, I was still considering booking because I loved the wedding coordinators!
Best of luck with your 2nd meeting with ADA!
