first wedding related disagreement

So last night we were e-mailed the first draft of our ceremony from rev april. It was great, it made me cry multiple times...

I asked FH to look through it and see what he would change/keep/or take out all together. We were looking at it together and i said i would take out a certain part all together and he wanted to know why..so i told him that i thought that it was unnecessary to have it in and that it made it a little to 'talky'. Apparently i offended him and we have a 30 minute 'discussion' about how he likes it and we need to keep it. This is only our first draft!!
He should be looking at the text from outside the box, rev april sent it to us so we could chop it up and mold it to us.

I just dont want our guests to think halfway through 'okay where the booze'

butttt it's a good thing if you look at it that he truly cares about the content of your ceremony!

Yeah that part is true, but i am worried that he saying he likes everything because he just doesn't want to work on changing something.
