Since the weather was so bad FH had to crash at my house (I live w/ my parents). Since he was here my mom gave us our first Christmas/Wedding gift - a Lenox cake cutting and serving set.
It's so pretty - just have to decide if I want to get it engraved or if I don't want to so I can pass it down to our children.
Kinda made a lot of this seem more real LOL it's so beautiful and was fun to open a gift on a snowy night by the fire!

Love it!!! I saw that set the other day and I think that's the one I want to get!

very pretty! what if you get the knife engraved on the blade part (not the handle) so that you can still pass it down to your children and they can get the other side engraved, instead of the server piece?

HA - so funny you said that, b/c I was thinking about doing so. Just having our date on it, done really small and then people can add to it. Kinda like the Stanley Cup for the NHL lol.
