FI's EXTREMELY RUDE/ANNOYING.....

cousin! This girl (I use that word because she doesn't act like a mature woman, despite the fact that she's 42 years old!), is always writing me emails, letters, says she loves Brian (FI, her cousin) so much, he's like a brother...she's so happy he found me.


WELL....she lives in CA, and comes to NY a lot to visit her boyfriend in Queens. Well, I get this email from her saying looks like she's not coming to our wedding, but she's coming to visit her boyfriend HERE sometime after my wedding, but before New Years.

HELLO....MY WEDDING IS DECEMBER 28th...there are only 2 days before New Years!!!! She really got both of us angry..,,,

I asked FI, he said she's just the most self-absorbed person you'll ever meet...she doesn't even have a clue how insulting she's being.

He's going to call her and ask her what's the deal.

Poeple like this (Who least expect it) should be confronted. or tell her 'her cousin who she lvoes so much' would be hurt. (then again do you want to make her ego more than it is)

I just wrote her an email, at the suggestion of my FI: This is what it said:

Brian and I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND that extended family far away can't come to the wedding, if you can't you just can't....but you said it yourself, you come and go to New York SO OFTEN....and you MAY be here (if you feel like it, because like you said, you're so unpredictable) a mere few days after the wedding. It just doesn't make any sense.

I don't think you understand how much time, effort, and $$$$$ has gone into this day.

Brian and I both DO NOT understand your logic whatsoever... you MAY be in New York a few days after the wedding (once again, if you feel like it) but you can't plan ahead and come to the most important day of your cousin's life? You talk a good game about how your cousin is so important and you love him so much, etc, etc, etc, but when it matters you don't follow through. We are both very hurt.

It is truly unfortunate that you're not coming.

Yeah...the woman is psychotic...FI called her and told her off. but she still doesn't think she's in the wrong by not coming to our wedding, but planning on coming to NY the day after and spending like a week here.

SHe's just a loony tune, and I'm now glad she won't be there to make some psychotic scene.

She is just plain awful and selfish I feel bad for your FH I am sure his feelings are hurt
