Fitting pics! My dress is finally making an appearance

I went to my 2nd fitting today with FH & my mom who is beside herself with excitement BUT The dress hadn't been touched and we waited for two hours while the seamstress finally started to work on it. We're still waiting for quite a bit of work on it but they took in 4' from the sides today so I could try it on and they're taking in another 2 inches before Saturday. Also, the embroidery on the overlay will be somewhat more tacked down.

They aren't posed pics just ones for my own comparison on my phone so I can see how the fittings are coming along but I'm excited to share!

I'm going to add photos from the other day to an album, when it's a better photo and bustled and stuff.

I'm really happy how it came out and I'm so thrilled that taking so much off of the sides didn't interrupt the embroidery which is what I was worried about.

You are wearing my niece calls a 'fluffy dress'. Its the kind she wants for the wedding.

She LOVES how full and 'fluffy' the tulle is.

Thanks everyone! I'm happy with the progress on it And might I add, I'm SO glad I bought another dress because this is really what I wanted.

Thanks Gina, and thanks for the email that made me really excited to show it off!

My mom is hobbling around on one crutch now and going to weekly physical therapy, thank you for asking. She is DETERMINED not to use the darn crutches at the wedding.

I call it my 'poofy dress' lol, fluffy works also. How old is your niece?
