Fitting Question

I'm hoping someone can give me insight into my first fitting. (it wasnt what I imagined it to be).

* The dress was not steamed, it was WRINKLED. Is this the norm?
* The seamstress made the bussle with three buttons to show the detail, I think it makes me 'poofy' but she said there is no other way to do it....ANY recommendations would be helpful!!
**Add to that they 'forgot' my headpeice in storage and it was a FUN experience.

Yes, the dress will be wrinkled. It won't be steamed until before you pick it up.
doesn't make sense to do it beforehand because it hill be handled a lot during the alterations.

Let your seamstress know you want a less poofier bustle. If you don't say anything, she won't know. Maybe it can be done a different way, maybe not.

Why didn't they get the headpiece out of storage while you were there ?
Make sure they have it for your second fitting.
