Fitting VENT with an update

I am being fitted for a BM for a wedding I am in 2 weeks from now. Today I am going for my 5TH FITTING. This is a little ridiculous... if the thing doesn't fit right I'm taking it anyway. I'm sick of driving there and having them stare at me in it like I'm some sort of oddity. I am pretty normally shaped... not sure what the friggin problem is other than this has to be the WORST alterations department in all of history.

UPDATE: So I went... the dress still isn't right. The woman admitted that they ordered it too big and there is only so much they can do with it. So now there is too much boning in the front so they have to bend it and it's basically stabbing me in the boob and that is what is causing this weird puckering to happen by the seams. I stayed there while they tried to fix it but it's not that much better...

To make matters worse when I was walking up to pay I stepped on a friggin pin. It went half way into my heel. I cursed (like the lady that I am). The girl looks at me and said 'oh yeah, that happens all of the time' At that point I was already annoyed and her comment did not help so I ripped the bloody pin out of my heel, slammed it down on the counter with my balance and said 'Then you should try vacuuming the effing carpets.'

I just can't handle other people's stupidity. I really can't.

Ughh my MOH/BFF is having the same issues wit her dress. She has her 4th fitting tomorrow and it better effing fit or she and I are rasining holy hell! My wedding is Friday and my freaking MOH doesn't have a dress yet.... not exactly what I need on my plate right now!

It's just beyond annoying. Aren't these people supposed to know what they are doing?? And when can I deduct the price of gas for traveling there every other day from the cost of my alterations? If I have this many fittings for my wedding dress I'll be pissed!!!

ask to go on a day when the tailor is THERE and then ask to wait for it

i went with my sis to the place my BMs went to, and they had to first take in the top before they could do anything else...so they offered her to wait 30 minutes while they did that

she, of course, didnt want to wait, so it just caused an extra appointment to be made....

if they ordered it too large, isn't it THEIR fault!? shouldn't they re-order the dress for you in the right size ...?

Based on my measurements that 'SHOULD' have been my size yeah ok. Apparently I am an alterations phenomenon... plus there is no time to reorder the wedding is in 12 days. They'll never get it in time. It's not horrible but it's not that great either.

Ugh, I'm sorry that the store sucks with their alteration capabilities. And they really should vaccuum! I had Max with me and Mom when they were doing alterations to her dress and they made SURE they didn't leave any pins anywhere. They were like, ok we're definitely safe for the pup!

People are ridiculous! Why can't anything with weddings be smooth!?
